Builders – Stop Relying on Google Maps

Just imagine, you’re driving up to your beautiful home after a hard day at work and you see construction vehicles on your property, in disbelief you walk up to your home only to find it destroyed in millions of pieces. Well, that’s what happened in Rowlett, Texas where a woman’s duplex was demolished by a demolition company. Why was it demolished you may ask? The demolition company had made a mistake and had demolished the wrong property because Google Maps mistakenly listed the woman’s duplex at the address that was scheduled for demolition. Can you believe it? The demolition company relied on Google Maps and didn’t even acknowledge to double check the address while they were physically at the home before starting the demolition process. The demolition company will not even acknowledge that they had made a mistake, they are blaming the entire mishap on Google. Don’t you think that’s ridiculous? For crying out loud own up to your mistake and stop blaming others.
